Scully to get game time at the Rovers

Partick Thistle’s back up goalkeeper Ryan Scully has followed in the footsteps of Firhill team-mates Mark McGuigan, Christie Elliot and Bradley Halsman by joining Second Division Albion Rovers on loan.
Scully, who made his debut for the Coatbridge side on Saturday and saved a penalty in their 3-0 defeat from League leaders Queen of the South, has joined the Cliftonhill men until the end of the season.
Celtic’s 19-year-old Belgian born goalkeeper Glenn Daniels has moved to Firhill on a temporary basis to cover for Scully with Thistle boss Jackie McNamara saying: “Ryan has the potential to be an excellent goalkeeper but he needs games. He has looked a bit rusty recently and he will benefit from a spell of playing regular first team football.”
“He has probably needed it for a while but you cannot just send someone away on loan as you need to have cover and we have that now in Glenn.”
