Record day at Annan

Annan Athletic were able to find a reason to smile despite their 3-0 Ramsdens Cup defeat at the hands of First Division Falkirk on Sunday as the 1,575 crowd that turned up to watch the game was a record breaker at Galabank.
Chairman Henry McClelland said, “I would like to thank the fans of Annan and Falkirk for their support at weekend. It was a great day for the club in terms of showing our progress by handling such a big crowd and whilst the result was disappointing we can take some pride from the attendance.”
