Former Motherwell youth Ryan Scanlon has turned down the chance of a contract at Bradford City to head home and he is looking to get back into the game at a Scottish club.
The 19-year-old left sided defender or midfielder was released from the Fir Park Youth system in the summer and he spent time training at Premiership giants Newcastle United before moving further south to Valley Parade.
Scanlon said, “I was offered a one year deal at Bradford but I would rather play back up in Scotland and hopefully, I will get picked up soon.”
