Lunan out after ankle knock

Montrose’s experienced defender or midfielder Paul Lunan has been ruled out for an extended period after ligament damage was found in an ankle.
The 30-year-old has been missing for the past 4 weeks due to a groin problem and he took the opportunity of being idle to get a niggle in his ankle checked out and the damage found has seen him ruled out of manager Stuart Garden’s plans for the time being.
Garden said, “We had been expecting Paul to be back in the next couple of weeks but he is now a good few weeks away.”
