IRN-BRU SFL Match Ball Competition

Congratulations to Graham Welsh, who has won The Scottish Football League competition to win an Official IRN-BRU SFL Match Ball for the month of October.
Graham describes himself as a "Dumbarton diehard" who has been supporting Dumbarton all his life. He regularly attends Dumbarton matches with his daughter Meghan, despite now living in East Kilbride.
Graham recalls his greatest memory, "It was back in 1976 when Dumbarton made the Scottish Cup Semi-Final against Hearts. We were beaten 3-0 in a replay after drawing the first game 0-0 and if we had made the final we would have been in the European Cup Winner's Cup tournament, as Hearts went on to play Rangers in the final who won the treble that season. We are a sleeping giant and we can keep dreaming that one day we will return to the top division of Scottish Football which is where we belong."
This competition was run in conjunction with our League sponsors, IRN-BRU, who have been our partners in the development of this ball. This is a prestigious development for the Scottish Football League as it is not often that a league sponsor’s name can appear on an officially approved FIFA match ball.
