Elgin without three centre backs

Third Division promotion chasing Elgin will have to field a makeshift central defence against hosts East Stirling on Saturday as Jamie Duff and David Niven continue to be ruled out with injury and Sean Crichton is suspended.
Duff and Niven both picked up knee injuries when Elgin defeated Annan on February 9 to record their only win in the last 9 games and face two more weeks on the side-lines according to Manager Ross Jack.
The Borough Briggs boss said: “We could have done without Sean being dismissed against Montrose as we are really short of defenders. The Shire will be on a high after two wins in a row so we may well need a backs to the wall performance to get a win at Ochilview.”
