Craig Gordon looks for new club
Wednesday 7th September 2011
Goalkeeper Craig Gordon is looking for a new club to play for this season however, it is not the 40 times capped Scotland shot-stopper that needs fixed up although this shot-stopper knows his way around Hampden just as well as the Sunderland man.
Sixteen year old Craig Gordon is looking to get his gloves dirty after 6 years in the Queen’s Park Youth set-up, during which time he kept goal in over a hundred games including the under-17 SFL Youth Cup Final against Livingston.
This season the Spiders are going with two 18 year olds in their under-19 squad leaving Gordon looking for a club and the youngster said, “I have had trials with Kilmarnock and Airdrie so far but I would like the opportunity to show other clubs what I can do in case a move to either club does not happen.”
