Ayr lose MacKinnon

Ayr United have lost the services of striker Darian MacKinnon who has been recalled early from his loan spell at Somerset Park by Hamilton Accies. The 27 year old, who stepped up to the First Division from Clydebank Juniors in the summer, has been on loan to the Honest Men since mid-September and scored three times.
MacKinnon was due to remain for another fortnight, however the Accies have brought him back with Ayr boss Mark Roberts saying. “It is a pity that we could not get Darian for longer but I would like to thank him for what he has done for us during his loan spell. Hopefully it will help get him established at Hamilton.”Ayr l;ose
