PFA Scotland had a record attendance at their Careers Day at Hampden on Wednesday which they have put down to the increased knowledge their members have on the state of finance in the game and a growing desire to have their future sorted long before a contract ends.

Recently, the SFL Newsletter brought you news of the Jagettes, a group of female Partick Thistle fans who were determined to show that attending a football match can be a fantastic add-on to a girls' day out. If they need any inspiration in their quest, they can look north to Elgin City’s Ladies Day, who put on a tremendous display of what a female support can bring to a club last weekend in their side’s Third Division game against Annan Athletic.
