Pars claim comfortable win
Dunfermline eased to a 2-0 win over over Airdrie at East End Park.
The match was delayed early in the first half as a referee Anthony Law was carried off injured and a replacement had to be found in the crowd.
It was the Pars who were sharper after the game restarted and scored through Graeme Bayne, who nodded Alex Burke's corner under Stephen Robertson.
Joe Cardle came close for the Fifers, as the winger faced his old club, narrowly curling his 20 yard effort over the bar with Robertson beaten.
Jim McIntyre's men doubled their lead in the 57th minute in almost comic circumstances, as the Airdrie trialist, who had just set foot on the pitch, hammered a Calum Woods cross past his own keeper from six yards out.
