| Dark Blues cruise into final Dundee strolled into the final of the Alba Challenge Cup with a 3-0 win against Annan Athletic. However, manager Jocky Scott will know his side should have won by a bigger margin after they spurned a host of opportunities. As it turned out the Dark Blues` toothless strike force did manage three. The first came in the 37th minute from a scrappy strike by Sean Higgins. They continued to waste chance after chance until the 63rd minute when Pat Clarke took advantage of some strong running from Higgins to tap in from two yards. Amidst more incredible misses, Craig Forsyth finally killed off any remaining hopes Annan had in the 70th minute when he took advantage of some slack marking to drill the ball home at the near post with an excellent left-foot strike. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
